Mehendi
Mehendi is an ancient Indian ceremonial art form that goes back to Hindu Vedic texts. Mehendi are pastes made by crushing henna leaves and turmeric. When applied as a paste on a hand, the paste dries, and when the dry paste comes off, a bright red dye remains on the skin.

Mysore painting is an important form of South Indian classical painting that was born in and around the city of Mysore, Karnataka, and was encouraged and nurtured by the rulers of Mysore. Karnataka paintings have a long and illustrious history dating back to the Ajanta era.
Classic Tanjor painting style is also very similar to Mysore paintings, which has a thicker piece of Gesso (gold). Another traditional art promoted by Wadiyar’s of Mysore is Miniature Mysore Ganjifa Art.
Madhubani
Madhubani paintings (Mithila paintings) were traditionally created by women from different communities in the Mithila region of the Indian subcontinent. It is native to the Madhubani district of the Mithila region of Bihar. This painting, as a form of mural painting, was widely practiced throughout the region. Paintings were traditionally painted on freshly plastered mud walls and cottage floors, but are now also painted on cloth, handmade paper and canvas. Mahbubani’s painting is made from rice flour paste.
