Service

The agreement between you and The Hobby Place when you book a class, workshop, camp, membership, or event with us — set out plainly.

Welcome to The Hobby Place. By booking a class, workshop, event, membership, camp, or making a purchase from us, you agree to the terms below.

Bookings

  • All registrations are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We reserve the right to limit the number of participants for any session.

Participation

  • Participants are expected to arrive on time.
  • Late arrivals may not receive additional time or make-up sessions.
  • Children must meet the minimum age requirements specified for each program.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child's suitability for the activity.

Health & Safety

  • Participants should disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs before attending.
  • The Hobby Place is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructor guidance or misuse of equipment.
  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants.

Photography & Media

  • Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes and events for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform our team before the session begins.

Damage to Property

Participants will be responsible for any intentional or negligent damage caused to studio equipment, furniture, tools, or materials.

Intellectual Property

  • All teaching materials, designs, lesson plans, artwork demonstrations, and course content remain the intellectual property of The Hobby Place unless otherwise stated.
  • They may not be copied, reproduced, recorded, or commercially distributed without written permission.

Memberships

  • Memberships are non-transferable unless expressly approved by management.
  • Membership benefits may be revised from time to time.
  • Misuse of membership privileges may result in suspension or cancellation.

Right to Refuse Service

The Hobby Place reserves the right to refuse admission or discontinue participation if a participant's behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate.

Changes to Programs

  • The Hobby Place may change instructors, schedules, venues, or course content when necessary.
  • Participants will be informed whenever reasonably possible.

Limitation of Liability

Participation in creative activities involves the use of tools, materials, and equipment. By participating, you acknowledge these inherent risks. The Hobby Place shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any program.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mysuru, Karnataka.
